Chris Tilson studied biochemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia where he received a B.S. in chemistry in 1996.  He has worked as a forensic toxicologist, toxicology section technical leader, and breath alcohol program manager throughout his more than 27 years of service with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Division of Forensic Sciences. Since 2004 Mr. Tilson has served as manager of the GBI’s Implied Consent section overseeing the state’s breath alcohol testing program.  He has co-authored papers in the Journal of Forensic Sciences and Journal of Analytical Toxicology and has made numerous presentations to the Southern Association of Forensic Sciences, Society of Forensic Toxicologists, International Association for Chemical Testing and CMI Intoxilyzer’s Users Group.
