Course Description:
This course provides a comprehensive examination of driving under the influence of drugs, combining scientific principles with real-world field application. Led by an experienced forensic toxicologist, it explores driving as a complex cognitive and physical task and explains how various drug classes impair performance. Participants will learn how to interpret toxicology results, recognize signs of impairment in driving behavior and field sobriety testing, and understand the impact of single and multiple substances on crash risk and driver safety.
