Self-funded government employees

We are committed to getting advanced education to public safety professionals and to building a world more resilient to impaired driving and drug-facilitated crime. Group memberships
Need access for your whole crew?
With a group membership your whole team has access to the training and resources they need. Each person gets everything in Forensic Pro, and the group gets:

- The option to host your own training in our learning management system (minimum group size of 50, or a separate add-on; limitations apply; contact us to discuss)
$159.99 per seat for 2 to 10 seats, with bulk discounts down to $109.99 per seat for 200 or more (see the table above). A first order needs at least 2 seats. Seats added to an existing group can be bought one at a time. Group memberships can be paid by ACH. If you pay for yourself and your agency agrees to pay for your individual membership within 3 months of your joining, we refund your self-pay membership. If you join as an individual and your employer or an association later adds you to a group membership, your individual membership is placed on hold for 3 months. After those 3 months, you receive a prorated refund. This applies to memberships bought at the standard or government rate.

Continuing education
ABFT recertification hours
Courses with the ABFT mark are pre-approved by the American Board of Forensic Toxicology (ABFT) for recertification CE hours. Look for the ABFT mark on the course.

Who is Forensic Pro for?
Professionals working in the criminal and civil litigation of impaired driving, drug-facilitated crime, and related areas. Members include forensic toxicologists, Drug Recognition Experts, traffic prosecutors, probation officers, judges, community supervision officers, DUI/DWI officers, highway safety managers and traffic safety advocates. Private sector employees, consultants and other non-government professionals join at the standard rate.
Do I pay for each course?
No. Membership gives you unlimited access to the Forensic Course Catalog. There are no per-course fees, and courses are not sold one at a time.
Are the three individual rates different memberships?
No. Every rate includes the same access. The rate depends on who is paying: anyone outside government ($199), a government agency paying for one employee ($169), or you as a government employee paying for yourself (the scholarship rate).
What do I need for the government rates?
A government email address, plus your employer or agency information, at checkout. Orders without them are canceled.
Who qualifies for a public service scholarship?
Current government employees whose agency has declined to pay for a membership and for whom the regular rate would be a financial burden. You agree to keep seeking agency sponsorship and to give us feedback after you have taken a few courses. Scholarships are granted at the sole discretion of DrugImpairment.com.
What if my agency or a group membership pays for me after I have joined on my own?
If you pay for yourself and your agency agrees to pay for your individual membership within 3 months of your joining, we refund your self-pay membership. If you join as an individual and your employer or an association later adds you to a group membership, your individual membership is placed on hold for 3 months. After those 3 months, you receive a prorated refund. This applies to memberships bought at the standard or government rate.
Do the courses count for continuing education?
Each course provides a personalized certificate to help you earn the credits you need. Courses with the ABFT mark are pre-approved by ABFT for recertification CE hours. Every course also comes with a course information packet that includes the instructor bio, the learning objectives, the course duration, and other information commonly needed to request continuing education credit from different credentialing bodies. Whether a particular body accepts a course for credit is that body's decision.
How are the courses delivered?
As on-demand video. You can watch in short segments and pick back up where you left off.
Will I get new courses when they come out?
Yes. New content and courses are included in your membership at no additional cost.
How do I pay?
Individual memberships are bought by credit card through the regular checkout. Group memberships can also be paid by ACH. If you need a quote, use the quote form. If you need vendor paperwork, contact us.
Does my membership renew?
Yes. Memberships renew automatically each year unless you cancel.
Can I get a refund?
Because members can use the training as soon as a membership starts, we do not routinely offer refunds. We consider a refund when a material failure of service delivery prevents us from providing what was described at purchase. A renewal is refunded only if you ask within 3 days of the renewal (5 days for group memberships) and have not logged in since it renewed.
How small can a group be?
A first group order needs at least 2 seats. After that you can add seats one at a time.
Is there a membership for employers?
Workplace and occupational health memberships are coming soon.
