| Nate Grimm believes we should leave things better than we found them, whether it’s a campsite, an organization, or the world. He started his policing career in 2012 after serving in the Marine Corps. Nate has worked as an officer in Colorado and Nebraska in a variety of assignments including sergeant, patrol officer, recruiter, Drug Recognition Expert instructor, tactical flight officer, and academy instructor. He has been teaching about cannabis, drug impairment, and impaired driving since 2016 and has had the opportunity to teach thousands of students in settings ranging from one-on-one instruction to international conferences. Away from work, Nate is a father, a Cub Scout leader, and a member of the MADD Nebraska state advisory board. He holds degrees from Nebraska Wesleyan University (BFA) and the University of San Diego (MS-LEPSL) and is the owner of Cop Smart LLC. |
